“All’s Well That Ends Well,” wrote Shakespeare whose life began & ended on this day

Birth-April 23,1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon,England
Death-April 23,1616 at the age of 52

Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs.
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers’ eyes.
Being vexed, a sea nourished with lovers’ tears.
What is it else? a madness most discreet,
A choking gall and a preserving sweet.
William Shakespeare
Romeo and Juliet, 1:1

This is not going to end well.

In honor of the most plagiarised playwright, Mrs. No More suggests you  select one of the Bard’s play and write a one-act play about your life today.  Make it tragic and fun, like Carrie Fisher.

Enlist other MNM’s and put on a ladies night of words and whine.  For example, I have chosen The Merchant of Venice and renamed it, Venus of Venice :

You’re a prick and I hope you bleed.
If  I poison you, will you please die?
But love is blind, and ex-lovers cannot see
the revenge that they have coming to thee.

Too much?   Drop me a line and share your poetic justice.
