No more yanking his Doodle

Standard

March 3 is National Anthem Day.  On this day in 1931 the Star Spangled Banner was named the U.S. National Anthem.  Don’t know all the words?  Who does?  Download the anthem and create your own.  For example:

Oh, soon you will see it’s fun to be free. Buy a new pair of shoes and stop watching Glee.

Your broad thighs and bright hair will make everyone stare.  And you’ll soon feel like the bomb and chaperone at the prom

You’ll be crowned Queen and the young flag poles will salute you, Mrs. Robinson

As long as Star Jones’ weave yet wave

O’er the land of leisure and the home alimony paid for.
